WDVR is pleased to announce the publication of the revised second edition of their cookbook WDVR Cooks. The cookbook features a delicious collection of local and family recipes, and all proceeds from the sale benefit the radio station.
This beautiful spiral-bound cookbook, which lays flat on counter tops, contains 245 recipes in seven categories—from appetizers to desserts. Each recipe is labeled with the deejay or listener who contributed it. Many of the recipes from 1996’s first edition have been included in the new book along with dozens of new recipes contributed by the station’s current on-air personalities and listeners. These recipes come alive with personal notes from the contributors. The book’s art direction also pays homage to vintage radios, making it a treat not only for cooks but radio enthusiasts as well.
WDVR Cooks will be available starting in late March for the modest price of $15 plus $3 shipping and handling. A staff-autographed, limited edition will also be available during fundraising time for $30. Advance orders are already being accepted for both.
Budding chefs and fans of WDVR should call 609-397-1620 ext. 0 for more information, visit WDVRfm.org or look for the book at WDVR events this spring and summer.
